ON A MISSION TO:

#makeworkwell

WE BELIEVE THAT SPENDING TIME BEING CREATIVE HELPS PEOPLE FEEL WELL AND WORK WELL

Creativity is cited as one of the top three skills required for workers to thrive in 2020 yet research claims British businesses are at risk of a creativity crisis due to workplace cultures stifling innovation. The number of employees who have experienced poor mental health due to work in the past year has also increased significantly.

We believe businesses can address both issues by introducing creativity to the wellbeing agenda. Exercising the brain with regular interaction in creative activities helps employees navigate business challenges more effectively, unlocks new opportunities for innovation and growth and improve their emotional wellbeing.

Arts and crafts have the ability to inspire people, calm them down and help see things from a different perspective. Whether it’s painting a portrait or learning how to knit, engaging in creative pursuits is proven to stimulate the brain and encourage positive action in people’s lives for hundreds of years.

Unwind LDN workshops are designed to help people find a moment of calm and use their new found artistic expression to communicate thoughts, ideas and fears in a way that verbal communication is sometimes unable to, thereby helping to reduce stress, improve social skills and boost self-esteem.
